Bon Secours Community Hospital Hosts Community Health Fair

Port Jervis, NY (June 8) – Bon Secours Community Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), welcomed everyone in the local community recently to a free Community Health Fair.

The informative event, with its theme, "Getting to know you, getting to know us," featured free food and refreshments along with 20 stations where visitors were able to learn how to take care of their own health. Courtesy blood pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen healthcare assessments were also available.

"This was a cooperative effort by our staff." said Vice President Administrator Sophie Crawford-Rosso. "They all volunteered to donate their time because they wanted to give back to the community."

Dietary Aide, Jamie Hockenberry offered visitors a "smoothie" along with healthy food choice information.
