Dr. King is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics and hospice palliative care. She specializes in minimizing hospitalizations and keeping patients physically active. She has been treating patients in the Hudson Valley for nearly 20 years.
Dr. King received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed her internal medicine residency and geriatric fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Dr. King holds certifications in geriatric medicine and hospice/palliative medicine. In fact, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce honored her dedication to the elderly population by presenting her with their Shooting Star award in 2009.
Dr. King is a dedicated member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatric Society. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, watching sports, cycling and going to the beach.
