Dr. Goel is experienced in performing Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography that can help in the diagnosis of motor neuron disease, muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular junction disorder patients, in addition to the common mononeuropathies, radiculopathies and polyneuropathies.

Dr. Goel completed her MD degree at Kasturba Medical College at Manipal University in Manipal, Karnataka, India. She completed her internship at University of Louisville in Louisville, KY, and completed her Neurology Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in Houston, TX. She completed a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship (EMG track) at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY.

Dr.Goel served as a Chief Resident during her final year of residency training. She is a published author, cited in five publications. She is winner of the Frank M. Yatsu award for Excellence in Clinical Neurology and the Excellence in Teaching Award for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Goel is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, is board eligible for Clinical Neurophysiology and ABEM and is licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York.
