Board Certification: Pulmonary and Internal medicine
Dr. Reid specializes in the treatment of
interstitial lung disease, interventional pulmonology, lung cancer,
and pleural diseases. He has a particular interest in lung transplant
and the management of severe asthma exacerbations.
Dr. Reid is board-certified in pulmonary and internal medicine. He has specialized
training in critical care ultrasonography, bronchoscopy, advanced airway
management and pleural diseases. He earned a Master of Science degree in
biomedical sciences from Mount Sinai Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in
New York and his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine
in Stony Brook, NY. He completed his internal medicine residency at Jacobi Medical
Center in the Bronx. Dr. Reid completed his pulmonary and critical care medicine
fellowship at New York University Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY.
Previously, Dr. Reid acted as a hands-on course instructor for the Stony Brook School
of Medicine, Transition to Residency Program. He led a course for medical students
designed to help them prepare for clinical situations they could encounter during
their internships.
