Bon Secours Medical Group Sports Medicine Physicians specialize in the non-operative medical treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal sports conditions. Common examples of musculoskeletal problems include:

  • Acute injuries (such as ankle sprains, muscle strains, knee and shoulder injuries, and fractures)
  • Overuse injuries (such as tendonitis, stress fractures)

Bon Secours Medical Group Sports Medicine also offers advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound services; a unique and advanced way to apply the modality of ultrasound to the diagnosis and management of many musculoskeletal conditions including:

  • The functional evaluation and treatment of small, medium and large joints
  • Functional evaluation of muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerve structures
  • Diagnosis of muscle, ligament, tendon injury
  • Diagnostic injections of soft tissue structures and joints
  • Postsurgical functional evaluation of small, medium, large joints
