Bon Secours Orthopedics joins Bon Secours Medical Group, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. 

Leading this new practice is Kenneth S. Austin, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience. He has cared for individuals at all levels of sports competition, including little league, high school, college and professional athletes. He is now focusing his expertise on non-operative diagnosis, treatment and management of sports injuries, fractures, disorders/conditions of the knee and extremities. 

Dr. Austin completed a fellowship in reconstructive surgery of the knee at Harvard University’s Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at New York University/Bellevue School of Medicine, where he also received his medical degree. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania as a Benjamin Franklin General Honors Scholar.

Amongst his numerous accomplishments, Dr. Austin is a member and past President of the Rockland County Medical Society, Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at New York Medical College, former Chief of Orthoaedic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital and Director of Surgical Service Line Development for WMCHealth. He has also been named “Top Doctor” by New York Magazine, Castle Connolly, Hudson Valley Magazine and others.
