Mary P. Leahy, M.D., CEO, Bon Secours Charity Health System, Receives Spirit of Healing Award at Westchester Medical Center Gala


Suffern, N.Y. (June 23, 2016) –Mary P. Leahy, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Bon Secours Charity Health System, which includes Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick and Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, received the Spirit of Healing Award at the 37th Annual Westchester Medical Center Gala.

More than 600 people were on hand for the Gala, which was held to benefit Westchester Medical Center, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and Behavioral Health Center, all members of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. The Gala was held earlier this month at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.

Dr. Leahy's service to Bon Secours Charity Health System, its employees, physicians, patients and the community has very deep roots. In addition to being a longtime resident of Rockland County, she is a board-certified internist who has been practicing medicine here for over 25 years. As a physician, a collaborative leader and a tireless community volunteer, Dr. Leahy has created a quiet legacy of commitment to our community and an impressive professional career.
