Chronic kidney disease
(CKD) creates a complex patient population and caring for these
patients requires experience and training. Dr. Connery specializes in
diagnosis and treating CKD along with other renal issues including
dialysis, cancers, stones and infections of the kidney.
Dr. Connery is board-certified in internal medicine. He earned a PhD in physiology
and biophysics, and his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in
Richmond, VA. He completed his internal medicine residency at Greenwich Hospital
in Greenwich, CT. Dr. Connery completed his nephrology fellowship at Westchester
Medical Center/New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Connery is committed to advancing the field of nephrology as a member of the
American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation. Additionally,
he was an active participant in the Quality Committee during his tenure at
Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Connery can treat a diverse population and is
conversationally fluent in Japanese.
